In 1990, the shuttle Discovery launched the most well known telescope into space. The Hubble Space Telescope. Now, in 2008, the shuttle Atlantis will visit Hubble for the last time.

STS-125 mission will install upgrades and provide servicing that will ensure that Hubble will keep its orbit for at least the next five years. By that time, the shuttle fleet will have been retired from service. This mission is scheduled to last for 11 days. The launch is scheduled for October 10, 2008 and can be viewed on 
SpaceVidCast.
